HCC and Konkan Railway Partner to Bid for Large-Scale Transport Projects
Hindustan Construction Company and Konkan Railway Corporation sign MoU to execute metro, tunnelling, and railway bridge projects. The partnership will focus on large-scale transport infrastructure under EPC and PPP models.
Mumbai: Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) and Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly pursue and execute large-scale railway and multi-modal transport projects.
The partnership will combine HCC's expertise in heavy civil construction with KRCL's capabilities in rail systems, operations, and project implementation. They plan to jointly bid for complex assignments, including underground and elevated metro systems, NATM tunnelling, and large railway bridges, under various contractual models like EPC and PPP.
