New Vande Bharat Express train to soon operate from Ferozepur Cantonment in Punjab to Delhi

The Railway Ministry has proposed a new Vande Bharat Express train from Ferozepur Cantonment in Punjab to Delhi. While addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has mentioned that currently, five pairs of Vande Bharat trains are running in Punjab, covering seven districts of the state. Over the last 11 years, he highlighted that the railway budget for Punjab has been increased 24 times.

Mr. Vaishnaw added that it will boost industries such as textile manufacturing and agriculture.
