RailTel wins railway orders worth Rs 75.8 crore from Northern and East Central Railways
Railtel Corporation of India Ltd, a telecom infrastructure firm, announced on March 7 that it has received two work orders totaling Rs 75.8 crore from the Northern Railway and the East Central Railway.
The first order, valued at Rs 28.29 crore, is from Northern Railway for indoor and outdoor double distant signaling work, which is set to be completed by September 6, 2026.
The second order, worth Rs 47.5 crore, has been awarded by East Central Railway. This order involves the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an Electronic Interlocking System in the Dhanbad Division, with a completion deadline of March 6, 2026.
