New Delhi, 11 September 2025: Railway PSU, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL), has secured a significant contract from West Central Railway in the normal course of business. According to the exchange filing, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited emerges as the Lowest Bidder (L1) from West Central Railway for “Design/Modification, Supply, Erection, Testing, and Commissioning of 220/132 kV/2X25 kV Scott-connected Traction Substation and switching posts with AT including SCADA work, between BINA and RTA sections of the Bhopal Division of WC Railway to meet the 3000 MT loading target.”
The time needed to execute the order is 540 days. The cost of the project is Rs 169.48 crore.
Shares of RVNL are trading higher by 0.55% at Rs 335.30 at BSE. The stock opened today at Rs 337.80.
