RVNL secures contract from Western Railway worth Rs 40.41 crore

State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has announced that it has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) from Western Railway for a "contract for strengthening S&T maintenance activities by providing round-the-clock manpower for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of signaling and telecom gears installed at various locations in Ahmedabad Division for two years."

With this significant order win, the shares of Railway PSU had been driven higher above 0.64% at Rs 346.60 as of 2:20 pThe stock opened today at Rs 344.25 and has reached an intraday high of Rs 347.70 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
