Highway Infrastructure Limited Secures Major NHAI Contract on NH-16
Highway Infrastructure Limited secures a Rs. 328.77 crore contract from NHAI to operate Kaza Fee Plaza on NH-16 in Andhra Pradesh for one year.

New Delhi/ Indore, December 9, 2025 – Highway Infrastructure Limited (HIL) has won a significant contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) worth Rs. 328.77 crore. The contract involves operating the Kaza Fee Plaza on the Chilakaluripet-Vijayawada stretch of NH-16, covering a length of 82.5 kilometers in Andhra Pradesh.
The agreement, awarded through a competitive e-tender process, includes the collection of user fees at the plaza and the upkeep of adjacent toilet facilities, including restocking essential consumables. The contract is set for a period of one year.
Highway Infrastructure Limited confirmed that the contract is a domestic engagement and does not involve any related-party transactions. The company emphasized that there is no promoter or promoter group interest in the awarding entity, ensuring a transparent and fair process.
This contract marks another milestone for HIL as it continues to expand its presence in India’s highway operations sector.
