Raipur/Bhubaneswar/Visakhapatnam: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has achieved a significant engineering milestone on the strategically important Raipur–Visakhapatnam Economic Corridor (NH-130CD), with the successful breakthrough of a 2.79 km long Left Hand Side Twin-Tube National Highway Tunnel.

The breakthrough was executed by the NHAI Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Abhanpur, operating under the NHAI Regional Office (RO) Chhattisgarh.

This achievement marks a major advancement in the construction of the vital economic corridor, which is set to boost regional connectivity and development across three states: Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh.
