NHAI Signs MoU with National Test House to Strengthen Quality Control in Highway Projects
New Delhi: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Test House (NTH) to strengthen quality assurance and quality control in national highway development projects across India.
The MoU was signed at NHAI Headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav and Bharat Khera, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, along with senior officials from both organizations.
Key Objectives of the MoU
The agreement aims to enhance project quality through
Independent third-party testing of construction materials
Verification of components and engineering systems
Strict adherence to prescribed standards and technical specifications
This collaboration will help ensure long-term durability, safety, and reliability of national highway infrastructure.
