New Delhi: Refex Industries Ltd has secured a significant domestic contract worth ₹32.89 crore for transporting pond ash to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) road development projects. The work is expected to be finished within five months.
The company, based in Chennai, is strengthening its presence in industrial services, especially in ash and coal handling. Refex Industries also works in renewable energy and green mobility, supporting national infrastructure and sustainability efforts.
Financially, the company reported strong performance in Q2 FY 2025-26. It saw a 20.5% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹37.44 crore, even though operating revenue dipped slightly by 0.3% to ₹426.85 crore compared to the same quarter last year.
In the stock market, Refex Industries' stock closed 8.23% higher at ₹346.70 on the BSE during Friday’s trading session. This reflects positive investor sentiment after the contract announcement.
