DVC Generation Achives a New High
Kolkata: Within 6 days of achieving its highest ever generation, DVC achieved a new lifetime high by generating 5409 MW at 19:02 hrs. on 22.02.2018.This translates into a total daily generation of 123.72 Million Units (MU) which is the maximum power produced in a day by the power utility.
DVC has created three new records on 22.02.2018 as follows:
- Within 6 days of achieving its highest ever generation, DVC achieved an all-time high instantaneous ex-bus generation of 5409 MW at 19:02 hrs. on 22.02.2018 surpassing the previous high of 5280 MW achieved on 16.02.2018.
- Highest ever daily generation of 123.72 Million Units (MU) on 22.02.2018 which is the maximum power produced in a day by the power utility. The previous record was 122.37 MU achieved on 05.05.2017.
- The Bokaro-A Thermal Power Station (1x500 MW) located in Jharkhand completed one year of running without Boiler Tube Leakage (BTL) after its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on 23.02.2017.
The generation growth of DVC compared to last year is 5.85%, among the local people.
