Bharat Electronics Limted Pays Dividend To Gov. of India
New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd has paid an Interim Dividend of Rs.2,62,29,12,635.20/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Sixty Two Crores Twenty Nine Lakhs Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Thirty-Five and Twenty Paise only) to the Government of India for the year 2017-18.
Mr. M V Gowtama, CMD, BEL, presented the Interim Dividend cheque to the Hon’ble Raksha Mantri, Mrs Nirmala Sitharaman, at New Delhi on March 15, 2018. BEL has declared 160% Interim Dividend (Rs. 1.60/- per share) to its shareholders for the year 2017-18.
This is the 14th consecutive year that BEL is paying Interim Dividend. The Company has paid a total dividend of 225% on its paid-up capital for the year 2016-17.
