BEL employee wins PM’s Shram Shree Award
NEW DELHI . Mr Jinesh H N, an employee of Bharat Electronics Limited , has been selected for the Prime Minister’s Shram Shree Award for the year 2013.
Mr Jinesh H N, who works as Junior Section Officer in the Military Radar Strategic Business Unit (SBU) at BEL’s Bangalore Complex, has been awarded for his overall contributions in the areas of indigenisation, product and productivity improvement, cost reduction, obsolescence management and import substitution.
He has been participating actively in the ‘Suggestion’ and ‘Indigenisation’ schemes of BEL. Till date, 65 of his suggestions have been rewarded by the Company, resulting in a savings of over Rs. 2 crores.
