ALIMCO signed MoU with Tamil Nadu State Office of IOCL
Chennai: Tamil Nadu State Office - Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India have signed Three MoUs on 19th June 2018 at Chennai valuing Rs. 70 lakhs for Distribution of Aids and Assistive Devices to Divyangjan at Trichy (Rs.30 lakh), Thanjavur (Rs.20lakh) and Thoothikudi (Rs.20lakh) under the CSR initiative of IOCL in the presence of Shri R Sitharthan, Executive Director-TNSO-IOCL & Shri Ajay Chaudhary, DGM CSR. Shri Seetharaman, General Manager(HR) - IOCL and other senior officials of both the organizations were also present during the signing of MoUs.
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, committed financial assistance under CSR initiative to Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) for the project, distribution of Aids & Assistive devices to approx 700-800 numbers of Divyangjan in Trichy, Thanjavur and Thoothikudi.
The main objective of the project is the distribution of aids and assistive devices to the persons with disabilities (PWDs), aimed at empowering this section of society to restore their confidence and bring them up to a reasonable level.
