BHEL gets award for e-governance efforts
BHOPAL: BHEL, Bhopal has been declared as one of the winners for Excellence Award in e-governance initiatives in Madhya Pradesh for 2012-13. BHEL won in the category - "the best application following best-practices of software development," for the project "online recruitment system," developed by Informatics Centre (IFX) department, BHEL, Bhopal.
The award was presented by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to BHEL Bhopal executive director (ED) S R Prasad and general manager (P and D, IT) Sanjeev Gupta in the presence of IT minister Bhupendra Singh and chief secretary Anthony JC Desa. The award was presented at a glittering function organized by department of IT and Madhya Pradesh Agency for Promotion of Information Technology ( MAPIT), at Bhopal on Tuesday
