Hindi Seminar on Swachhatha Campaign Organized at RINL
Visakhapatnam: A National Hindi Seminar on ‘Role of Science & Technology in Swachhatha Campaign’ was organized at Management Development Centre, Ukkunagaram. Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC- Undertaking), Visakhapatnam in association with RINL, AAI & LIC organized the conference in which 32 Technical papers on various aspects of cleanliness campaign were presented.
Shri VV Venugopal Rao, Director (Finance), RINL while inaugurating the seminar, stressed the need for Swachhatha in every facet of mankind’s activity be it in society or industry. He also lauded the efforts of TOLIC (Undertaking) in organizing the seminar on a topical subject and that too in Hindi, thus, serving the dual purpose. He released an E-book viz. ‘SWACHHATHA’ containing the articles of delegates on this occasion.
Shri G Prakash Reddy, Vizag Airport Director graced the occasion and appreciated RINL for conducting the program of national importance.
Shri Kishore Chandra Das, Director (Personnel), RINL was the Chief Guest at the valedictory. Speaking on the occasion, Sri Das said that deliberations on this topic having National importance need to be taken up further to achieve the objectives and sustain the achievements made so far. ‘Public participation & use of science and technology are playing a vital role in sustaining the Swachhatha campaign. Later, he distributed certificates to the participants.
Shri A Nagendra Kumar, Personnel & Industrial Manager, LIC spoke on the occasion. Around 72 delegates from 18 Undertakings participated in the Seminar.
Shri Raju Isaac, GM (HR), RINL and Sri Lalan Kumar, DGM (Rajbhasha), & Member Secretary, TOLIC (Undertaking) participated.
