IOCians participate in Hindi Fortnight with zeal
New Delhi: Hindi Fortnight was observed with great enthusiasm at IndianOil's Refineries Headquarters & Corporate Office from 1st to 15th September, 2017. A gamut of activities like slogan, essay, general knowledge, translation and handwriting competitions saw enthusiastic participation from IOCians and their family members, underlining their love for the language. On Hindi Divas celebration a self-composed poetry competition was held on the theme ‘sabka saath sabka vikas’ with many talented IOCians penning their heartfelt thoughts on the subject.
Renowned poetess Ms. Mumtaz Nasim and poet Mr Deepak Gupta, enthralled the audience with their poetries and also judged the competition. On the occasion, awards were presented to the winners of the various competitionsheld during the Hindi fortnight by Mr. AK Chowdhury, Executive Director (HR), Refineries HQ, and Mr R C Upadhyay, Chief General Manager (Admin & Welfare)
