IndianOil has commenced mainline laying works
Chennai : IndianOil has commenced mainline laying works of a section of the 1,445-km R-LNG pipeline grid that would connect Ennore near Chennai to Bengaluru, Puducherry, Nagapattinam Madurai and Tuticorin. The pipeline section on which work has commenced today originates at Ennore LNG Import Terminal of IndianOil LNG Pvt. Ltd and terminates at Kilakadi village in Kanchipuram district traversing through Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram districts of Tamil Nadu. The grid will spur industrial growth in the southern states as it will distribute natural gas to power plants, fertiliser plants and other industrial units.
