NTPC and IIT Madras sign MoU for Research and Development
New delhi . NTPC Ltd and IIT Madras have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)for Research and Development in the areas of mutual interest such as Bulk ash utilization, Carbon Capture, Waste to Energy, Gypsum building, Under water imaging, DC Grid System, DC Light, Grid stability, Intelligent Controllers, Combustion and Nanotechnology in New Delhi.
As per the MoU, joint R&D projects will be taken up by both the organizations for development of new technologies, process and product for optimization & efficiency improvements etc.
The MoU was signed by Shri R K Srivastava, Executive Director, NTPC-NETRA, and Prof Krishnan Balasubramanian, Dean (IC&SR), IIT Madras.
