Olympian Devesh Chauhan Enthuses IndianOil families for Clean India mission
New Delhi: IndianOil's Refineries Headquarters engaged the family members of IOCians residing in the Township at Noida as part of 'Clean India' Mission. Mr. Devesh Chauhan, Olympian, Arjuna Awardee and former member of the Indian National Hockey Team, motivated the IOC families and invitees from the neighbourhood.
Mr. V K Shukla, ED (HR), RHQ, warmly welcomed Mr. Chauhan and also shared that every transformation begins with an individual and requires a change in the mindset. He also called upon the township residents to join hands for creating a model township for cleanliness and hygiene.
Mr. Devesh Chauhan, an IOCian himself, administered the Swachhta pledge and shared that a united team effort of all citizens will make the mission successful. He urged all present to contribute for a clean-green country, which is the hallmark of any well-respected & developed nation. The IndianOil team as well is working very hard across locations to support the mission, he added.
School children and the ladies participated in an elocution competition and shared their thoughts on keeping the country clean-green & being swachh ambassadors for the society respectively. The congregation then did a walkathon to generate awareness on cleanliness, which concluded with a nukkad natak performed by children of migrant labourers of Noida.
