SAIL Employees Contributed Rs. 3.00 Cr to CM Relief Fund
Bhubaneshwar: Steel Authority of India (SAIL) employees contributed to CM Relief Fund to help victims affected by Cyclone 'Fani'. A cheque of Rs. 3 Cr was handed over to Shri Naveen Patnayak Patnaik, Chief Minister of Odisha by Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Steel with Shri Anil Kumar Chaudhary, Chairman, SAIL at Odisha Bhawan recently.
Earlier, SAIL stood up proactively to help cyclone Fani affected areas and had moved in electricity poles on priority basis in the state of Odisha while adjusting its regular production. The Company moved in special quality Wide Parallel Beam (WPB-160) electric poles on topmost priority basis responding to the immediate requirement of the State Government.
