Sebi Chief Shri U K Sinha Gets 1 Year Extension
New Delhi: Feb 16,2016
Shri U K Sinha will remain Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) till March 1, 2017 with the government on Monday extending his term by over a year.
The extension for Mr Sinha, whose current term was to end on February 17, was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. NDTV
