Workshop on CSR and Sustainable Development organised at WCL
NAGPUR. Sri Rupak Dayal Director Personnel , has said that the CSR activities of WCL has been appreciated by its stakeholders. The company has been successful in creation of infrastructures to bring meaningful change in the lives of the population living around the mining areas. Yet a lot has to be done. The emphasis of CSR team of WCL should now be on improving the long term impact of CSR works undertaken by the company. Coal India Limited has revised its CSR Policy in June 2014. It is desirable that the officers should study the policy and act accordingly.
He was addressing the participants in one day workshop on CSR and Sustainable Development organised at Management Development Institute, organised by WCL yester day . The workshop was attended by officials from all areas of the company.
