Airports Authority of India has planned to provide Smart Class solutions to 24 schools all over Maharashtra under Corporate Social Responsibility Scheme. The pilot project of the Digi Class Room was inaugurated at the Airport High School, Vile Parle (E), Mumbai by Smt. K Hemalatha Regional Executive Director, Western Region, Airports Authority of India on 29th March 2017.
 
The smart class room system provide students 3D/2D audio visual experience with multimedia content, enhancing their interest and attention and enables the understanding and remembering of all subject in a easy and convenient manner. 
 
The smart class solution provided by M.s EdCIL India consists of a Computer Laboratory with five computers and Integrated Community Computer with built-in projector and multimedia content. Two computer labs and five Integrated Community Computers have been given to Airport Secondary School & Junior College and Airport Primary School at Vile Parle East. 
 
The Airport High School aided by Government and Airport Primary School run by Civil Aviation School Associations have 2500 students. These schools are with the lowest fee structure amongst owned English medium schools in the area which enables many students from economically weaker sections to study in an English medium school. 
 
 The senior Officers of AAI, including Management Committee Members of CASA, were also present on the occasion, along with the student’s teachers and Principal of the Civil Aviation School.
