HEC Participated in International Mining and Machinery Exhibition
Kolkata: Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC) participated in the four-day event organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in Kolkata. CII hosted the trade fair on International Mining and Machinery Exhibition (IMME) in Eco Park, Rajarhat, Kolkata, starting from 31st October to 03rd November’18.
The trade show attracted a large number of international delegates, foreign as wells as domestic companies. The trade fair had various county pavilions from Australia, UK, China, Germany etc.
HEC, being a dominant player in the mining sector in India, also had displayed its capabilities and contributions in the mining sector. HEC had also put-up an in-house developed model of Dragline, which is one of the heaviest earth mining equipment for which HEC is the only indigenous manufacturer in India.
HEC also showcased its new venture for manufacturing Dragline Buckets as HEC is executing a prestigious order for Dragline buckets in collaboration with SIMCO, Australia - A step materializing ‘Make in India’. The customers at the event were also apprised of the launching of a new product, Hydraulic Shovel, in-house designed and developed with technical assistance from IIT-ISM Dhanbad. The product is expected to be launched soon.
