Honble Coal Minister Reviews Performance of WCL
Nagpur: Sri Piyush Goyal, Hon`ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, Coal, New & Renewable Energy and Mines reviewed the performance of Western Coalfields Limited (WCL). He reviewed the Coal production, despatches, quality of coal, safety measures, welfare of workers and coal supply to the power companies. He emphasized on continuous improvement on above said aspects of the company.
Earlier, he inaugurated the latest “Varian High Energy Linear Accelerator” machine for Radiation Oncology facility in National Cancer Institute at Jamtha, which has been provided by WCL under it's CSR initiative.
Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon'ble Chief Minister, Shri Nitin Gadkari and Shri Dhamendra Pradhan (Hon'ble Central Ministers) and famous Industrialist Shri Ratan Tata, Sri Rajiv R. Mishra, Chairman-cum Managing Director of WCL & Director (Personnel & I.R.) of Coal India Limited, Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Director (Personnel), Sri S.M. Chaudhary, Director (Finance) and Sri T. N. Jha, Director (Technical/P&P), WCL were prominently present on the occasion.
After that Coal Minister Shri Piyush Goyal inaugurated R O Plant at Patansaongi of Nagpur Area and processed Coal Neer to be provided to populace at the minimum cost.
