NHPC Signs MOU with Ministry of Power for the Year 2018-19
Faridabad: NHPC Limited, has signed Memorandum of Understanding on 20.04.2018 with Ministry of Power, Government of India for the year 2018-19. The MOU was signed by Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Secretary, Ministry of Power, Government of India and Shri Balraj Joshi, CMD, NHPC in the presence of senior officers from MOP and NHPC.
In the signed MOU for NHPC, generation target under excellent rating has been set as 25400 Million Unit (MU) as against last year target of 24000 MU. Excellent Targets for Revenue from Operations (Net) has been kept as Rs.8000 crore, Operating Profit as a percentage of Revenue from Operations (Net) has been kept as 27.50% and PAT/ Average Net Worth has been kept as 9.00%.
Further to ensure optimum utilization of budget, CAPEX programme of NHPC has been assigned 6% weightage in the MOU 2018-19. Targets regarding Improvement in Plant Availability Factor, Reduction in Forced Outage and Reduction in claims against the company not acknowledged as debt, Trade Receivables, etc. have been included in the MOU.
In addition, milestones in respect of Subsidiary Companies LDHCL & BSUL, Human Resource Management parameters and other sector-specific parameters have also been included in the MOU.
