NTPC LADIES CLUB CELEBRATES TEEJ
MUMBAI. Sakhi Mahila Samiti, NTPC,Mumbai celebrated Teej in all its splendor. The event which was held at Powai township this tuesday was a grand affair with women draped in colorful attire enjoying every moment of the celebrations. Mrs .Soma Ghosh ,President, of Sakhi Mahila Samiti, who was the chief guest mentioned the importance of the festival and how its celebrated with pomp and gaiety all over the country. The programe included fun games, songs, and dances. The hall mark of the event was the selection of Teej queen. Mrs.Surinder Kaur was adjudged the winner. Mrs Poornima shrikhande, Mrs Pradyna Budhakar, was declared as first and second runner up.
Mrs Shalini juneja, Vice-President, Mrs Swati Kulkarni, Bal Bhavan incharge,Mrs laya lonappan and a large number of ladies were present on the occassion. The event was compered by Mrs Geetha Ravindran ,General Secretary, of the club. Mrs Kalpana Mishra, proposed the vote of thanks.
