NTPC registers 10percent growth in power generation in Q1FY17
New Delhi. NTPC Limited registered a 10% growth in power generation in the first quarter of FY 2016-17. The cumulative generation of the company was 64.6 billion units (BUs) in Q1FY17 as compared to 58.70 BUs during same period last year,” NTPC said ia a media statement.
NTPC group achieved generation increase of 11.65% during the period. The electricity tariff billed by NTPC to the beneficiaries has also been reduced significantly as compared to the same period last year despite increase in fuel prices, said the company.
