SJVN Organises - ASCENFANT SJVN GEN Y Conclave for Executives
Shimla: SJVN Limited organised a two day Conclave - ‘ASCENDANT’ SJVN GEN Y Conclave for the young executives of SJVN at Royal Tulip, Kufri, Shimla. This Conclave is the brain child of the visionary Chairman & Managing Director of SJVN Shri Nand Lal Sharma and the aim of this innovative initiative is to sync the Shared Vision of SJVN to become a 5000 MW company by 2023, 12000 MW by 2030 & 25000 MW by 2040 with the ideas of the young executives of the company.
The Conclave was inaugurated by Chairman & Managing Director Shri Nand Lal Sharma in the august presence of IAS (Retd) Shri Deepak Sanan and IAS (Retd.) Shri Ajay Mittal. On this occasion, Director (Finance) Shri A. S. Bindra, Director (Electrical) Shri R. K Bansal, Director (Personnel) Smt. Geeta Kapur, Director (Civil) Shri S.P. Bansal, faculty member Shri H.B. Sahay, Ex CGM, SJVN and Shri K.K Gupta, Ex CGM, SJVN were also present.
Addressing the august gathering, Shri Nand Lal Sharma said that this conclave is to consolidate the learning’s of the series of training program on Professional Bonding & Mentoring that were organised In-house for 380 young executives of the company. He encouraged the executives to contribute rigorously towards making SJVN a vibrant globally competitive organization by introspecting on their core competencies and using those strengths in taking the company towards new heights of growth and success.
To generate ideas and formulate a roadmap for making SJVN a 25000MW company by 2040, 11 teams from Corporate Headquarters and all the projects of SJVN made presentation on various topics such as Idea to Implementation of Shared Vision, SJVN DNA- Core Values, SWOT analysis of SJVN.
Shri Deepak Sanan, IAS (Retd), the faculty of the training programs in his address focused on the need to carry forward the enthusiasm and euphoria that followed the setting of Shared Vision and Core Values to achieve these targets and supersede them.
