Timely Supply of BS-VI fuels in the country is the priority for Team Refineries: Shri B V Rama Gopal
New Delhi: Mr. B V Rama Gopal, IndianOil’s Director (Refineries), on its Foundation Day' said, 'The successful launch of BS-VI grade auto fuels in NCT-Delhi region from 1st April 2018, is a noteworthy achievement of Team Refineries, and I am optimistic that the other fuel quality improvement projects to ensure supply of the green fuel across the country shall be commissioned as per schedule.' He also outlined the achievements of the refineries, including capacity expansion, achievement of global benchmarks in petrochemicals, implementation of indigenous technologies in the refineries and called on the need for ensuring safe, uninterrupted and sustainable business practices. 'Projects like the world’s first refinery off gases-to-ethanol plant being set-up at Panipat Refinery jointly with M/s Lanzatech, USA, as well as the steps taken by Mathura and Gujarat refineries to reuse treated water for refinery operations are positive steps in this direction', he further added.
Director (Refineries) felicitated the winners of Suggestion Scheme, whose innovative ideas have improved business processes and enhanced profitability of the Corporation. Mr. B V Rama Gopal also launched e-Learning modules aimed at strengthening skills and empowering IOCians to take on future business challenges.
