ONGC Tripura Hiring Retired Officials for LAQ & RoU Roles

Agartala, February 12, 2026: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Tripura Asset, has released Advertisement No. 01/2026 inviting applications from retired government officials for engagement as Associate Consultant and Junior Consultant on contract basis.

The recruitment aims to support ONGC’s operations related to land acquisition (LAQ), Right of Use (RoU), forest clearance, mutation, encroachment removal, compensation cases, and other field-level coordination work in Tripura.

Selection will be through a Walk-in Interview scheduled on February 19, 2026 (Thursday) at OOMS Hall, ONGC South Colony, Badharghat, Agartala.

Vacancies & Remuneration Details

Associate Consultant

Post: Retired TCS Officer Grade-1 / Grade-2
Vacancies: 01
Monthly Remuneration: ₹68,000 (Consolidated)
Upper Age Limit: 68 years

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate in any discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience as TCS Officer Grade-1/2 in Revenue Department, Government of Tripura
Adequate computer knowledge required

Junior Consultant (Forest)

Post: Retired Forest Official (Forest Ranger)
Vacancies: 02
Monthly Remuneration: ₹42,000 (Consolidated)
Upper Age Limit: 68 years

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate in any discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Forest Ranger under Tripura State Government
Sufficient computer knowledge required

Junior Consultant (Revenue/Survey)

Post: Retired Surveyor / Amin / RI / Tehsildar
Vacancies: 05
Monthly Remuneration: ₹35,500 (Consolidated)
Upper Age Limit: 68 years

Eligibility Criteria:

10th Pass / Madhyamik / ITI / Diploma
Minimum 3 years’ experience in survey and land records work under Tripura Government
Computer knowledge desirable

Key Responsibilities

Selected candidates will assist ONGC in:

Land acquisition and Right of Use (RoU) matters
Forest clearance coordination
Removal of encroachment from ONGC land
Mutation of land in ONGC’s name
Crop, tree and land compensation cases
Negotiations with affected parties (without committing on behalf of ONGC)
Filing FIRs and coordinating with statutory authorities
Field visits across operational areas in Tripura

Terms & Conditions

Contract engagement up to February 28, 2030 or until attaining 68 years of age, whichever is earlier
Annual renewal subject to performance and medical fitness
Posting anywhere in Tripura as per requirement
No TA/DA for interview or contract period
Fixed consolidated remuneration; no additional benefits
One-month notice period for termination from either side
