Defence PSU, BEL received ESC National Export Excellence Award 2025
BEL, a Navratna Defence PSU, proudly received the ESC National Export Excellence Award 2025 in the Strategic / Defence Electronics category, recognizing its remarkable 92% export growth in 2023-24, achieving a record USD 92.98 million in sales.
New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) received the ESC National Export Excellence Award 2025 in Strategic / Defence Electronics category in Delhi on March 19, 2025. Mr Prahalad P S, GM (Civilian Marketing), and Mr E A Hariharan, Sr DGM (Corporate Communication), received the award on behalf of BEL from the Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba, H.E. Dr Eduardo Martinez Diaz, and Mr Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of Law and Justice.
During 2023-24, BEL’s export business saw a robust uptick, with
sales growing by 92% to a record USD 92.98 Million.

BEL’s products continued to find increased acceptance in France, USA, Spain, Israel, Germany, Armenia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, UK, etc, a clear indication of the company’s growing capabilities. BEL also has a healthy export order book of USD 387 Million USD. BEL is fast expanding its global presence by making all-out efforts to tap new export markets across the globe.
In a bid to develop new markets in the Indian Ocean Region and friendly foreign countries (FFCs), BEL has operationalised new overseas marketing offices. ESC is Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council of India.
