Numaligarh Refinery Limited was honored with the prestigious Excellence in Cyber Security Award for its exceptional implementation of Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) at the 3rd PSU Transformation Awards. The event was organized by Gov Connect , an initiative of ILouge Media, and co-hosted by Ease of Doing Business and NHEV. Supported by the Digital India BHASHINI Division, the conclave serves as a significant platform to drive innovation and strengthen resilience within India’s Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

The award recognizes the outstanding contributions of PSUs in areas such as digital transformation, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, emphasizing the critical role of robust IT solutions in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring data security. The award was presented to Mr. Bhudev Kumar Das, Chief Information Security Officer of NRL, by Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Former Minister of State for the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, Government of India, and Dr. Neeta Verma, Director General - IT, Election Commission of India and former Director General of the National Informatics Centre, MeitY.
