New Delhi, October 29, 2025: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) today announced its financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2025. The period witnessed an excellent financial performance duly supported by robust refining and marketing performance.

• 731% increase in H1 Standalone Profit After Tax (Rs 8,201 crore)
• Strong Refinery performance with 9.7% increase in Throughput in H1 (13.23 MMT)
• Steady growth in Marketing with 3.5% increase in Sales volume in H1 (25.11 MMT)
• Significant progress on reduction of Debt Equity Ratio (Standalone D/E at 1.07 as compared to 1.38 as on 31st March 2025)
• Strong Refinery performance with Gross Refining Margin (GRM) at US$ 8.80 per barrel in Quarter 2

Financial Performance
The company registered an YoY increase in Profit After Tax by 731% for H1 FY26, and by 507% for Q2 FY26.
• Revenue from Operations
H1 FY26: Rs 230,458 crore (Rs 229,074 crore in H1 FY25)
Q2 FY26: Rs 110,323 crore (Rs 108,196 crore in Q2 FY25)

• Gross Refining Margin (GRM)
H1 FY26: US$ 5.95 per barrel (US$ 4.03 per barrel in H1 FY25)
Q2 FY26: US$ 8.80 per barrel (US$ 3.12 per barrel in Q2 FY25)

• Standalone Profit After Tax (PAT)
H1 FY26: Rs 8,201 crore (Rs 987 crore in H1 FY25)
Q2 FY26: Rs 3,830 crore (Rs 631 crore in Q2 FY25)

• Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT)
H1 FY26: Rs 7,970 crore (Rs 777 crore in H1 FY25)
Q2 FY26: Rs 3,859 crore (Rs 143 crore in Q2 FY25)

Operational Performance
Refining Performance:
• Refineries recorded highest ever crude throughput of 13.23 MMT during H1 FY26, up 9.7% from 12.06 MMT in H1 FY25.
-Visakh Refinery registered highest-ever crude throughput of 8.14 MMT operating at 108% of its enhanced name plate capacity of 15 MMTPA
-Mumbai Refinery registered throughput of 5.09 MMT operating at 107% of its name plate capacity of 9.50 MMTPA

• Refineries recorded crude throughput of 6.57 MMT in Q2 FY26, up 4.3% from 6.30 MMT in Q2 FY25.
-Visakh Refinery registered crude throughput of 3.98 MMT operating at 105% of its name plate capacity
-Mumbai Refinery registered throughput of 2.59 MMT operating at 108% of its name plate capacity

• One new grade of crude oil was processed during Q2 FY26, taking the total number of new grades processed during H1 FY26 to five.

Marketing and Sales Performance:
Sales Volume:

• H1 FY26 Sales (including exports): 25.11 MMT (↑ 3.5% YoY)
-Domestic Sales Growth: 2.7%
-Combined sale of Petrol (MS) and Diesel (HSD): 15.18 MMT (↑ 1.9% YoY)
-Total LPG sales (Domestic and Non-Domestic): 4.60 MMT (↑ 6.2% YoY)
-Pipeline Throughput: 12.82 MMT

• Q2 FY26 Sales (including exports): 12.07 MMT (↑ 3.9% YoY)
-Domestic Sales Growth: 3.6%
-Combined sale of Petrol (MS) and Diesel (HSD): 7.07 MMT (↑ 2.8% YoY)
-Total LPG sales (Domestic and Non-Domestic): 2.39 MMT (↑ 5.9% YoY)
-Pipeline Throughput: 6.12 MMT

• HPCL’s Aviation business recorded a growth of 6.1% during the quarter as against Industry degrowth of 2%
