ACC approves major recommendations of Government Ministries

The Competent Authority has approved the proposal of the Cabinet Secretariat for the extension of the central deputation tenure of Ms. Nila Mohanan, IAS (AGMUT: 2007), Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, for a period of two years beyond 04.10.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

New Delhi, 5 September 2025: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal of the Cabinet Secretariat for the extension of the central deputation tenure of Ms. Nila Mohanan, IAS (AGMUT: 2007), Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat, for a period of two years beyond 04.10.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The government has approved the extension in central deputation tenure of Shri Saurabh Shukla, IA&AS (2005) Director, in the Prime Minister's Office for a period of one year beyond 19.10.2025, i.e., up to 19.10.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier, in relaxation of extant guidelines.

Further, the government has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Coal for an extension in the Central deputation tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme of Shri Ajitesh Kumar, CPES (2006), Director in the Ministry of Coal, for a period of six months beyond 04.09.2025 and up to 04.03.2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Shri Ajitesh Kumar, CPES (2006), counts his central deputation w.e.f. 05.09.2019.

In addition to the above, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Food and Public Distribution for repatriation of Shri Manoj Kumar Jain, IRAS (2000), Executive Director (Engg/IT) (JS level), Food Corporation of India, HQ under the Department of Food and Public Distribution, to his parent cadre on administrative grounds, with imposition of an extended 'cooling off' condition.
