ACC approves several recommendation and proposals of Ministry

Government has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Defence for the extension of the central deputation tenure of Shri Dinesh Kumar, IAS (NL: 2004), Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, for a period of one year beyond 06.12.2025 or until further orders.

ACC approves several recommendation and proposals of Ministry

New Delhi, 12 September 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for:

1-Extension in upgradation of the post of Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (OCR), Rajasthan under the Ministry of Home Affairs, presently held by Shri Bishnu Charan Mallick, IAS (RJ:2007), to the level of Joint Secretary up to the approved tenure, i.e., 31.12.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier;

2-Extension in upgradation of the post of Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (OCR), Maharashtra, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, presently held by Ms. Nirupama J. Dange, IAS (MH:2007), to the level of Joint Secretary up to the approved tenure, i.e., 31.12.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

It has also approved an extension in the central deputation tenure of Shri Mahmood Ahmed IP&TA&FS:93, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, for a period up to 25.10.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

In addition, the government has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Defence for the extension of the central deputation tenure of Shri Dinesh Kumar, IAS (NL: 2004), Joint Secretary, Department of Defence, for a period of one year beyond 06.12.2025 or until further orders.
