New Delhi: The Department of Personnel and Training (DoP&T), Government of India, has announced key updates related to training programmes, IAS appointments, and central deputation processes. The Advanced Programme for Public Human Resource Management (APPHRM), conducted by IIM Lucknow under the Long-Term Domestic Training Programme, has been rescheduled. The programme will now commence on 14 March 2026 instead of 14 December 2025, and the last date for submitting applications has been extended to 1 March 2026. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

In a separate notification, the Government has appointed five officers from the Nagaland State Civil Service to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) against the Select List of 2024. The officers have been allocated to the Nagaland cadre and will remain on probation until further orders, as per existing IAS recruitment and cadre rules.

Additionally, DoP&T has invited nominations for deputation under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) and for Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) posts in Central Public Sector Enterprises for the year 2026. Applications will be accepted through the SUPREMO portal starting from 1 January 2026. Detailed eligibility conditions, cooling-off requirements, vigilance clearance norms, and service-wise participation lists have been issued to ensure transparency and timely processing of nominations.
