Throughout his career, Shri Ghoshal has held various significant positions, including sea appointments on frontline warships and roles in training, inspection, ship repair yards, trials units, projects, and tenures at Command and Naval Headquarters.

His expertise also extends to the design and development of software projects, techno-commercial contracts, and supply chain management. This diverse experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of both technical and managerial aspects, making him a well-rounded leader.

On January 1, 2024, Shri Ghoshal assumed the role of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Ferro Scrap Nigam Limited (FSNL).

Shri Manobendra Ghoshal has had a distinguished career spanning nearly 39 years, primarily in the Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (SCRA 1985 batch). His educational background is impressive, with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Electronics & Telecommunication, and a PG Diploma in Management Studies.
