National Small Industries Corporation - Chairman & Managing Director

He has recently taken on the role of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of the National Small Industries Corporation Limited (NSIC) as of May 2, 2024. Before this, Dr. Acharya was the Chief General Manager at the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), where he played a pivotal role in various aspects of MSME financing​

Dr. Acharya holds a Ph.D. in Management and has an extensive educational background that includes a Master's degree in Science (M.Sc.) and an MBA. He is also a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (CAIIB). His scholarly pursuits extended internationally, as he was a British Chevening scholar, studying Sustainable Development at the University of Bradford, UK.
