He holds the additional qualification of MBA (Finance) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK) and a Chartered Engineer, registered with the Engineering Council (UK). He was the Functional Director on the Board of Container Corporation of India Limited for 4 years from 29.09.2017 to 06.10.2021, incharge of the Projects & Services wing. He has had a long stint of more than 20 years holding various key positions in the Indian Railways.
