CSR: BEL handed over 10 Thermal Fumigation e-Carts to Kochi Municipal Corporation

New Delhi: As part of its CSR initiatives, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has handed over 10 Thermal Fumigation e-Carts to the Kochi Municipal Corporation.
Mr Vikraman N, Director (HR) of BEL, presented the vehicles to Mr T K Ashraf, Chairman, Health Standing Committee and Mrs Sheebalal, Chairperson, Welfare Standing Committee, Kochi. Mr Chetan Jaysingh Patil-Auti, GM (HR)/BEL-BG, and senior officials from the Kochi Municipal Corporation were also present.

Being a vibrant commercial hub and a key port city of Kerala, Kochi faces unique sanitation challenges. The Thermal Fumigation e-Carts will augment Kochi Municipal Corporation’s sanitation initiatives by mitigating the spread of vector-borne diseases like dengue and malaria.
