ECIL CSR Initiative – Donation of College Bus to Netra Vidyalaya Degree College
As part of its CSR efforts, ECIL donated a 33-seater college bus to Netra Vidyalaya Degree College for the Blind at Muchintal, Telangana. The initiative supports mobility and inclusivity for visually impaired students.

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) donated a 33-seater college bus to Netra Vidyalaya Degree College (College for the Blind), a unit of Jeeyar Integrated Vedic University, located at Muchintal, Shamshabad, Telangana, on 3rd Sept 2025.
The College bus was formally handed over by Shri Anurag Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, ECIL, in the revered presence of Shri Chinna Jeeyar Swamyji. Senior leadership from ECIL, including Dr Anesh Kumar Sharma, OS & Director (Technical) and Shri Proteek Kumar Chakraborty, Director (Finance) were also present and participated in the flag-off ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Anurag Kumar reaffirmed ECIL’s commitment to harmonious and sustainable development through its CSR activities. He highlighted that the provision of a college bus would significantly ease mobility challenges for visually challenged students, enabling them to commute to training institutions, coaching centres, industrial visits and other academic engagements. He noted that this initiative aims to empower students with equal opportunities to learn, grow, excel and contribute to the nation.
Shri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy thanked ECIL for its generous support and emphasized that Netra Vidyalaya Degree College is dedicated to providing equal educational opportunities to all visually impaired students, irrespective of their social background. He urged ECIL to continue its support in building a more inclusive and accessible learning environment.
