NTPC Creating GEMs through GEM Workshop

New Delhi: NTPC Ltd. is carrying out CSR activities with commitment and innovative ways. The Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) programme is one such innovative CSR initiative which aims at empowering girls, says Shri D K Dubey, Regional Executive Director (South), NTPC while formally inaugurating the GEM programme at NTPC-Ramagundam.

 

The programme, besides helping the girls from academic and extracurricular activities, will help in enhancing their skill sets through structured training. The four-week long residential workshop will provide an excellent platform wherein resource persons from Aware Group, Hyderabad will help the girls in mastering academic and extracurricular activities.

 

Children also performed a cultural programme and skit which enthralled the audience.
