New Delhi, 23 May 2025: Shares of Container Corporation of India Ltd have declined by over 3.38% in Friday’s trading session as the company has reported a fall in the net profit by 1.6% to Rs 298.5 crore in the March-end quarter of the financial year 2025 as compared to Rs 303.3 crore in the corresponding period of the last year.

Revenue from operations also witnessed a slight decrease of 1.6%, amounting to Rs 2,287.8 crore as compared to Rs 2,325 crore in Q4 FY24. EBITDA decreased by 10% to Rs 526.6 crore from Rs 585.7 crore in Q4FY24.

The EBITDA margin has dropped to 23% as a result of this decline, from 25.2% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. PAT has also declined by over 15.5% and stood at Rs 287.69 crores.

On the basis of segment revenue, EXIM Revenue stood at Rs 1,491.01 crores, and for the Domestic front, it is at Rs 796.82 crores. The company's FY25 total volume growth stood at 7.9% and fell well short of its 18–20% forecast.

Sequentially, the domestic volumes increased by 11.9% against the anticipated 25% increase, while EXIM volumes grew by 6.8%, missing the 15% growth target.

Shares of CONCOR are trading down by 3.38% at Rs 713.00 at BSE.
