Shri N L Sharma CMD SJVN visit to 1320 MW buxar thermal power project
Shimla: Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN visited Buxar Thermal Power Project, Chausa, Buxar, Bihar on inspection tour. He was accompanied by Sh. R. K. Bansal, Director (Electrical), SJVN.
Sh. S. C. Agarwal, CEO, STPL, Sh. Sanjeev Sood, Chief GM, Sh. S. L. Sharma, CFO, STPL along with all the employees greeted the dignitaries on their arrival to the Project Site. Welcoming Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN, Sh. S. C. Agarwal expressed his gratitude towards him for sparing his valuable time to be amongst STPL employees and motivating them.
Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, ,Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN in his address expressed his happiness and satisfaction over the progress of project works and exhorted employees to strive hard to complete the project ahead of schedule. Sh. R. K. Bansal, Director (Electrical) in his address said that under the able guidance and leadership of our dynamic Chairman & Managing Director, Buxar project will definitely be completed ahead of schedule time.
Sh. Sanjeev Sood thanked Chairman & Managing Director and Director (Electrical) for their visit to the project and assured that their visit will definitely motivate the employees to put their best in completion of the project as scheduled. Sh. Sanjeev Sood is scheduled to take-over as CEO, STPL after the retirement of the present CEO, Sh. S. C. Agarwal on 29.02.2020.
During the visit, Sh. Sharma interacted with local leaders and villagers of the project affected people and very patiently heard their aspirations and petitions.
SJVN Thermal Power Limited (STPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited which is executing 1320 MW (660 X 2) Buxar Thermal Power Project in Chausa, Buxar (Bihar). The project construction work is in full swing and is scheduled to be completed by October 2023. On commissioning, the project will generate energy of 9828 MU per annum and herald a new era of prosperity in the area.
