Shri R k Singh Laid Down foundation Stone for Chandauti Sub-station
New Delhi: Shri R. K. Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Power, New & Renewable Energy, laid down the foundation stone for 400/220/132 KV POWERGRID Chandauti Sub-station which will supply power from Nabinagar Power station and supply to districts of Gaya, Rohtas and Aurangabad. This Rs. 240 Crore Sub-station will improve the power position of Bihar in line with the Government of India’s mission '24x7 Power For All'. It will also lead to overall development and economic progress of the state, and through the POWERGRID 765 kV Gaya Sub-station shall strengthen the state grid connectivity with the national grid.
Shri Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Energy, Prohibition, Excise & Registration Minister, Bihar, along with Shri Hari Manjhi, MP (Gaya) and Shri Vinod Prasad Yadav, MLA (Sherghati) were also present on the occasion. This is another step towards powering progress for Bihar and transmitting prosperity for people.
