Federal Reserve Appoints Multiple Chairs and Deputy Chairs for 12 Regional Banks for 2026
Washington: The US Federal Reserve has officially announced the chairs and deputy chairs of all 12 Federal Reserve Banks for the year 2026, confirming major leadership appointments across the nation’s central banking network.
The announcement was made by the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, which each year designates one chair and one deputy chair at every Reserve Bank from among its appointed directors. These leaders play a crucial role in shaping US monetary policy, economic stability, financial regulation and regional banking governance.
Each Federal Reserve Bank has a nine-member board of directors representing a wide cross-section of business and community leadership in its district.
