London | January 2026: NatWest Group has announced a change in its senior leadership, confirming that its Group Chief Risk Officer has stepped down from the role and has formally left the bank.

To ensure continuity in risk management leadership, Sean Pilcher has been appointed as Interim Group Chief Risk Officer. Pilcher brings extensive experience within NatWest Group, having previously served as Director of Risk for Commercial Banking and most recently as Chief Operating Officer for the Group Risk function.
