RVNL Recruitment 2026: Executive Director (Civil) Vacancies for Metro Rail and Highway Projects

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has issued two vacancy notifications inviting applications for the post of Executive Director (Civil) on an immediate absorption basis. The appointments are for one post each in the Metro Rail infrastructure domain and Highway/Road projects, as per vacancy notices issued on January 24, 2026.

The positions are open to eligible officers from Railways, CPSEs, PSUs, Metro Rail Corporations, and Central/State Government organisations, with postings applicable across India.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent from a recognised institution.

Experience Requirements

Metro Rail Vacancy (Notice No. 2026/RVNL/10-CIVIL):

Minimum 25 years of post-qualification experience in planning, execution, and management of infrastructure projects
Experience must include Metro Rail / Urban Rail / MRTS projects
At least 8 years of experience specifically in metro planning and construction

Highway/Road Vacancy (Notice No. 2026/RVNL/09-CIVIL):

Minimum 25 years of post-qualification experience in highway, road, or expressway projects
Experience in NH/SH/Expressway / Access-controlled highways
At least 8 years of experience in EPC / HAM / BOT (Annuity & Toll) contracts
Exposure to organisations such as NHAI, NHIDCL, MoRTH, or similar agencies is essential

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be serving officers holding:

Analogous posts (Level-15 CDA / E-9 IDA), or
Level-14 CDA with at least 25 years of Group-A service, or
IDA E-8 with a minimum of four years of service in the grade

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility and relevant experience and called for an interview. Final selection is subject to medical and physical fitness as per RVNL norms.
