Bharat Petroleum signs MoU with Equinor India Pvt Ltd for propane and butane purchase

BPCL has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Equinor India Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equinor ASA, for the purchase of propane and butane over the next year.

The MOU was formalized by Shri T.V. Pandiyan, Business Head of LPG at BPCL, and Shri Desikan Sundararajan, Managing Director and Country Manager for India at Equinor.

The signing took place in the esteemed presence of the Honorable Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Shri Hardeep Singh Puri, along with Shri G. Krishnakumar, Chairman and Managing Director of BPCL, and Shri Sukhmal Jain, Director of Marketing at BPCL.

This collaboration ensures a reliable supply of essential petrochemical feedstocks, reinforcing BPCL's commitment to meeting India's growing energy and petrochemical needs.
